Portrait
Learn all the techniques necessary to create a unique portrait, from identifying the different colour zones to the underpainting techniques and the visual textures you can achieve using oil pastels.
Landscape
Learn how to create an oil pastel landscape and how to replicate a number of different visual textures using the oil pastels on grainy or sugar paper.
Through techniques of mark-making, layering and blending, learn how to create your own landscape painting.

Looking for a new hobby to unwind and relax? Then why not join me on Tuesday mornings for art, tea/coffee and friendly chats – the perfect way to start your day!
Over 5 weeks, we will explore the versatility of acrylics and develop your skills, methods and techniques in areas such as colour mixing, paint application, perspective, composition, and painting styles.
You will be guided by myself through the painting process and encouraged to discover your own artistic voice so that you can get the most out of your painting experience.
Suitable for all levels from the complete beginner to the more advanced.
